Eboracum Baroque’s double bass player, Frances Preston, introduces you to the unique sound-world of the baroque double bass.

This is a chance to hear the double bass in a different light to how you might have heard it before, as Frances will show it’s versatility as a solo instrument. Frances will use multi-tracking technology to highlight some hidden gems in the double bass repertoire and talk more about the differences between the baroque double bass and it’s modern counterpart.
