Suffolk’s Baroque Music

Eboracum Baroque are delighted to perform at Moyse’s Hall presenting a programme of music based around Suffolk composers from the 18th century. Hear music by Suffolk composers, Joseph Gibbs and John Carr that has not been heard in over 250 years.

The concert will include Violin Sonatas written by Joseph Gibbs who worked for the majority of his life in Suffolk and also vocal music by John Carr. Alongside these lesser known composers hear great music by their contemporaries including George Frederick Handel.
