Eboracum Baroque are delighted to return to the beautiful chapel at Wimpole Hall to present a brand new, festive programme of Georgian music from 18th Century England. It will feature famous arias by George Frederick Handel including from Messiah alongside music from across Europe by composers who became famous in England at this time including instrumental and vocal music by Charpentier, Bach and Telemann. They will also perform the Winter movements from ‘Airs for the Seasons’ written by the Scottish georgian composer, James Oswald who wrote pieces to portray the flowers and plants for each season. Eboracum Baroque are young professional musicians and perform on baroque instruments including the Harpsichord and Baroque Trumpet.
