We are delighted that our Winter Season of streamed concerts is sponsored by Woodfines Solicitors
A collaborative concert between singers from Eboracum Baroque and the Recorder Quartet, Palisander. Presenting works by Byrd, Tallis, Tomkins and Dowland in exciting new arrangements. The concert will be pre recorded in the beautiful surroundings of Peterborough Cathedral and broadcast online on Saturday 21st November at 7pm. From Byrd’s peaceful sacred music to energetic Elizabethan dances we will present a varied programme from across the 16th century. (More details below)
This project features some of the best young freelance professional musicians in the UK and in these times of great uncertainty we are delighted to be collaborating with the fantastic recorder players from Palisander. This project has been possible due to many cancelled concerts and projects. We’re incredibly grateful for the support from Peterborough Cathedral for us allowing to film in such a magnificent building.
It can be watched online at: youtube.com/eboracumbaroque and facebook.com/palisanderrecorders
Donations for this concert are greatly appreciated to help support the young freelance musicians performing in the concert. We recommend a donation of £15, something that you might pay to watch a concert in person. These donations can be made securely via PayPal here

Above the Stars, My Saviour Dwells – Thomas Tomkins
“The Queen’s Breakfast” Galliards Set – John Dowland/Antony Holborne
