Wimpole favourites Eboracum Baroque return with a new concert specially for Christmas: Benjamin Britten’s glittering Ceremony of Carols for upper voice and harp and a selection of other seasonal music sung by some of the best young voices in the UK. Britten’s Ceremony of Carols is a selection of movements set to a Middle English text, originally written in 1942 when Britten was on voyage returning from the USA.
