Hello! My name is Teerna Mukhopadhyay and I am a 3rd year Music (BMus) degree at the University of Surrey. I am currently on placement with Eboracum Baroque and I am so excited for what lies ahead this year!

One thing I am particularly looking forward to this year is getting involved behind the scenes for in person concerts, especially after a whole year of live-streamed events due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I have really missed live music concerts (as I’m sure we all have!). I am also really excited to gain and develop a wide variety of new skills such as marketing and get involved in lots of different projects this year, which will help me grow professionally and also on a personal level.

In my spare time, I am a member of a charity organisation known as ‘Essex Indians’, which holds various cultural events such asconcerts and drama productions to raise money for various charities, including Great Ormond Street Hospital and Sylvia Wright Trust. I have been lucky enough to sing at many of these events and perform pop with some Indian classical singing as well. I am also the president of gospel choir at my university, where I organise various events throughout the year with the committee.

Aside from my musical passions, I love cooking and trying out new recipes, baking (my favourite thing to bake has to be brownies!) and going on a walk in nature whilst listening to music.
