News

Next month we’re heading to Stamford to film in the beautiful surroundings of Burghley House. We’re extremely grateful for this amazing opportunity! Our ‘Burghley Sessions’ will feature pieces of music from the remarkable music collection from the house which was built up by the Earls of Exeter in the 17th and 18th centuries. Across the Autumn we’ll release a piece of music each Sunday evening at 7pm.

Our programme from the collection will include a concerto by Vivaldi, arias by Handel and a trumpet concerto by a composer you may never have heard of (it’s a great piece!) and much more. We’ll be filming in the great hall where it is documented that concerts took place in the 18th century.

Join us on a Sunday evening at 7pm on YouTube! (The videos can be watched at anytime after the 7pm release each week) The first release date will be announced in due course.

SPONSORSHIP

We have secured a small amount of sponsorship for this project but we still require some funds to cover the costs of this unique project. We are committed to supporting freelance musicians in these challenging times. Alongside the fees and travel expenses for the performers there are considerable costs for the video and sound production. We would love to hear from individuals keen to support this project and businesses, particularly local to Stamford who might like to feature in this project. This project aims to showcase an important part of Stamford’s musical history and it is a great opportunity to support the arts. Please do get in touch and we can tailor a package to your requirements.
